Hi, Matt with etrailer. And today we're talking about the ClearPlus Intelli Curve Windshield Wiper Blades on our 2024 Hyundai Kona. Now this is a really nice option because this is gonna be a hybrid style. And what's nice about hybrid style, we get the benefits of both having a beam style and a frame style. Now I'm gonna show you what I'm talking about is if you take a closer look at this design, this is gonna be shaped a little bit like a beam style, so it's still gonna be applying a decent amount of pressure downwards and there's gonna have this ability to really flex. And that's where that frame style comes in handy because we're gonna have about 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 pivot points or pressure points on this blade. more

So let's take a closer look at the style of this. This is gonna be a frame style blade, and what that means is we're actually gonna have pressure points that's built into this at multiple points. So instead of just applying two points of pressure, this is gonna be evenly dispersed so we don't get any spots that we miss and we don't get any streaking either. more

How Does the ClearPlus 17 Series Signature Windshield Wiper Blade Fit - 2024 Hyundai Kona- Video

Hi, I'm Matt with etrailer, and today we're talking about the ClearPlus Signature Series wiper blades on our 2024 Hyundai Kona. Now this is gonna be a beam-style wiper blade, and what that means is this is gonna be a curved blade and the way it works is it's just applying a lot of pressure to the windshield. All windshield does have a little bit of curving to it, so it's nice for that, and to really show you what I'm talking about, if I lift up on here, you can really see that shape start to show, and that's just gonna set down and apply pressure throughout. Now one of the downsides to this style is we're not getting even pressure throughout. It's mainly being applied to these edges. This sensor is gonna have some, too, but it just won't have as much. more

Shane: Hey everyone, Shane here with etrailer.com. Today I have a 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe, and I want to walk through how to install the Scrubblade Heavy-Duty Wiper Blades. Now when we're looking for different wiper blades, we're looking for replacement wiper blades, sometimes we'll go and pick up the cheaper ones, which they work for a little bit, but they tend to skip across the windshield or as soon as the wind hits them, they'll lift up or they flex and then you're getting a streak across the windshield because there's not enough downward pressure. So next time we go and buy a little bit more expensive ones.Well, they work for a little bit longer, but eventually they start acting like the cheaper ones. Well, the Scrubblades have changed the game, because the framing and the suspension mechanism in them is a lot stiffer. So you're getting a lot more downward pressure and each blade is going to have two blades instead of one, like your traditional wiper blades. more

This is what our wiper blades look like when they're installed. These blades are going to hold up in all weather conditions. They're going to work great in sleet, snow, and rain.Our blades are going to have eight pressure points to maximize blade to glass contact. The Squeegee itself is going to be made out of a natural rubber. It's going to have a graphite coating to minimize skipping and chatter. more
